Virtual Participation¶
We are offering a limited virtual participation component for free. We do not have the resources to support a full-hybrid event that would not degrade the experience of either in-person or virtual participants, so we are prioritizing the in-person event. We recognize that this will limit participation by some.
There will be several ways to participate and contribute from afar, and, again, at no cost.
500-word abstracts may be submitted without registering for the event. Authors of accepted abstracts who are not registered for the event will be invited to contribute a proceedings document on the same topic. This is limited to one submission per first author.
“Slideshow” presentations are open to virtual participants. For this, they will submit a single slide that will be shown in rotation during insterstitial periods at the in-person event. These slides will also be archived in Zenodo with other workshop materials.
Talks / presentations / panel discussions will be recorded and made available for free online after the event. (There might be live streaming available if resources and infrastructure allow it. But this falls low in priorities.)
Submitted materials (abstracts, poster PDFs, proceedings submissions, etc.) will be publicly archived and freely available in Zenodo.
Meta-workshop discussion will be available through dedicated chat rooms on the Planetary Research Cooperative (PRC) Mattermost or OpenPlanetary (OP) Slack instances [TBD]. These organizations offer free registration / membership.
Submit an abstract through the Indico portal at solarsystem.events.
